About Charlie
Charlie is a 6mth Border Collie who will appeal to working dog enthusiasts or owners able to provide structure, training, and appropriate outlets for her breed. She is highly motivated, quick to learn, and ready to develop a repertoire of tricks and purposeful activities suited to her breed, including herding, Treibball, agility foundations, and other structured enrichment. Charlie is people oriented and is expected to form a close bond with her owner. She has had positive experiences greeting other dogs and an off-lead play session, however she has been observed to bark at dogs while on lead, she will benefit from ongoing support and calm, structured exposure. Maybe ok with another dog depending Meet & Greet.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
