About Myrtle (68411)
Myrtle has had quite a long journey here with us at GAWS. Coming in as an emaciated stray, with poor skin and cherry eye, she has truly flourished. Myrtle has also had some challenges meeting dogs and practicing her socializing. As a mature, entire female Rotti, with a dominant attitude she can be forward and intense, but we have found a soft side, and also found some friends she can rough play with. For obvious reasons, Myrtle is to be the only dog in the home to receive maximum TLC from her new family in her senior years. Myrtle is not suited to living with cats or pocket pets, and her child history is unknown, so a suggestion of over 10's is recommended. Myrtle will need daily walks, assimilation into the new home, realistic senior dog care, and a forever home to retire to. Myrtle is lovely to handle, a bit strong on lead (so don't expect nana-type dog walking) and just happy to be well and comfortable.

Please note it is compulsory that we meet any existing dogs with the GAWS dog of interest to help ensure a good match for all involved. In addition, all household members are required to attend the meet and greet to assess the dog's interaction.
