Meet Jan! 🌼
Just like her Brady Bunch namesake, sweet little Jan has often found herself quietly standing in the background. Surrendered alongside Marsha from the same home, this petite 1-year-old brown tabby is hoping someone special will finally see her for the wonderful cat she is.
Jan is a shy, sensitive soul who takes time to trust new people and surroundings. She's not the type of cat who will march into your home and demand attention on day one. Instead, she's looking for an experienced and understanding adopter who will give her the patience, kindness, and security she needs to blossom at her own pace.
Despite living with other cats, Jan has always been the quiet, submissive one. She would thrive in a calm indoor home with a friendly desexed female cat for companionship. Peaceful surroundings are important to her, so ideally no dogs and no young children. Older, cat-savvy children who understand her gentle nature may be considered.
Beneath her nervous exterior is a sweet little girl who simply wants to feel safe and loved. Watching a timid cat learn to trust and flourish is one of the most rewarding experiences, and Jan deserves that chance. We're hoping her forever family is out there waiting.

Adoption details
Call Queanbeyan Council on 1300 735 025 to be transferred through to an Animal care Officer that works at the facility. The animal care officer will take your details, send you an application form and if suitable make contact to book in a meet and greet at the facility with the desired pet.
Adoption fee cost:
When you purchase the animal they will either be desexed or the cost of desexing will be included in the fee. You will receive a voucher to take to a local vet to have the animal operated on. All animals adopted from our animal management facility receive free lifetime registration in NSW.
