Baz (68943)

Meet Baz - our lovable Bull Arab x Staghound boy. Baz came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past, but what we do know is that he's a friendly giant with a gentle heart.

Like many Staghound mixes, Baz is affectionate, loyal, and enjoys stretching his legs before settling in for a good snooze. He has that classic sighthound nature - sensitive, observant, and happiest when he feels safe and secure with his people. Baz is also likely to enjoy comfy lounging spots and being close to his family once he bonds.

Baz may need a little help adjusting to indoor/outdoor living and learning the routines of home life, but he's eager to connect and continues to show his sweet nature every day. Due to his size and enthusiastic moments, Baz may be best suited to a home with older, dog-savvy children aged 8+, as he can accidentally become a bit of a knocking hazard when excited.

Baz may be suited live with another well match canine companion, he seems to prefer calm females. He has been tested with cats and was mostly avoidant of them so may be able to be slowly introduced to a cat friendly household.
