Milo never expected to be looking for a new home at this stage of life.

After sadly losing the person he loved most, this handsome Kelpie has found himself starting a new chapter and searching for someone special to share it with.

Milo has spent the past year enjoying all the comforts of home life. He's swapped marathon running for marathon lounging and has developed a fond appreciation for comfy couches, afternoon naps and being close to his favourite humans. Let's just say he's carrying a little extra "love" around his middle these days!

What Milo loves most in the world is people. He forms strong bonds and is happiest when he's part of the family, not left on the sidelines. Because of this, he would love a home where someone is around more often than not to enjoy his company, share a cuddle on the couch and remind him that he's still very much loved.

Milo hasn't spent time around young children, so we feel he would be best suited to a quieter home with an older couple, retirees, or a family with older children who can appreciate his gentle nature and need for companionship.

Like all dogs in foster care, living in a home environment means we know so much more about Milo than we ever could in a kennel. We know what makes him happy, what routines he enjoys and the kind of family where he is most likely to thrive.
