About Max
Max is a 2yr old Rottweiler Doberman mix. In true Rotti style, he is a big, strong boy and would be best with someone experienced with his breed.
He is an absolute sweetheart who loves his snuggles, cuddles and kisses❣️. He loves to love, and be loved 💕.
Max is easy to train as he is eager to please his humans and loves his treats❣️.
Max will sit and wait for his food like a good boy. He also loves to do paw shake tricks for treats and doesn’t snatch.
He is learning new skills everyday with his foster parents. He is currently working on his loose-leash walking as he can get very excited and pull on walks 🐾. He will need someone to continue this training.
Max loves his car rides from the comfort and safety of being inside the car with the window down enough for lots of sniffs. He is very well behaved in the car.
Max would best suit a family where someone is home most of the day as he is a very person-orientated dog and does suffer a little bit of anxiety when left alone. He seems happier when left indoors when you go out. He is so happy to see you when you come home.
This boy will thrive in a calm and relaxed home with lots of interaction and mental stimulation. He would be best as being the only dog as he can get very excited and also selective with other dogs.
Max needs a home with no small children (best over 12 years), due to his large size and excitability.
Not suited with cats or other animals 🐈❌.
Max weighs 35kg.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
