š Personality & Backstory
Big Boy is 7 years old and, literally as his name suggests, heās a big Burmilla breed boy with a heart of gold.
Super friendly, cuddly and playful, Big Boy absolutely loves being around people and simply hanging out with you! Whether youāre watching TV, relaxing on the couch or just going about your day, heās more than happy to be right there beside you. Heās low maintenance, easy-going and content just spending time with his humans.
A special thing about Big Boy is that he only has 3 legs ā but donāt let that put you off. It certainly doesnāt stop him. Big Boy gets around just fine and can walk, run, jump and climb. It might not be the conventional way a cat does things, but he absolutely lives life to the fullest.
Big Boy is proof that disability does not define a petās ability to love, play or enjoy life. Heās simply a beautiful soul looking for someone to love him for exactly who he is.
Foster or adopt Big Boy today and show him that his disability doesnāt matter. š¤

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitmentāboth emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. Weāll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, weād love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, weāll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isnāt the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
