About Freddie (Aubrey)
Hello there I'm your new prince charming Freddie Mercury.
-Like my namesake I'm the purfect mix of playful, independent and charismatic.
-I'm an easy going guy and get along well with just about everyone. I don't mind if you're another cat, dog, baby or adult as long as I've got some company.
-I've grown up around small children so don't mind being carried around like a baby, pushed in a pram or even snuggling in bed so I'd slot right in with just about any kind of family.
-My favourite hobbies are sport related. I really enjoy a game of pom pom soccer (I love throwing little balls up in the air so I can chase them and kick them with my dainty little paws. My absolute favourite though is water. I LOVE it!! If I hear a running tap or see my human go near a water source I will race over with outlandish enthusiasm so I can splash about with my paws and dunk my nose to have a drink. Whilst I won't admit to anything, let's just say my new family may need to remember to keep the toilet lid closed.
-I'm a healthy, happy boy, I'm desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and can't wait to take on the world with my new family.

๐ ABOUT OUR ORGANISATION
As well as working with dogs, Sunny Days runs Victoria's only specialised stray cat rehab facility in Avalon, Vic. Our rehab centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is in constant demand due to the sheer number of cats born wild, and dogs no longer wanted.
๐ HOW ARE WE FUNDED?
Despite the demand, we have no source of ongoing funding. Unlike public pounds who enter into contracts with local councils to be the facility responsible for housing lost animals in that municipality, volunteer-run shelters like ours do not receive any government funding, we are left to fund our work through our own pockets and community donations.

๐ OUR WORK WITH CATS
We take in full cat colonies, pregnant and nursing mothers, ophan kittens, FIV positive cats, and sick or injured cats. Cats are humanely trapped after being identified as un-owned and we support them through full rehabilitation from wild and unhandleable to fully domesticated. We don't give them deadlines to be socialised by or they'll be euthanised, we provide sanctuary for them for as long as they need.
