💛 Personality & Backstory
🌸🐾 Maya For Adoption: The Bubbly Little Blossom 🐾🌸
Maya is a sweet, bubbly little girl with a playful spirit and so much love to give. While she is shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long before her true personality shines through.
She is a super affectionate kitten and loves to be around you. She absolutely adores pats and isn’t afraid to ask for them - expect enthusiastic headbutts into your hand, plenty of leg rubs, and lots of happy purrs.
Playtime is one of Maya’s favourite parts of the day. She’s full of beans with a goofy, fun-loving personality that will keep you smiling. One of our favourite things about her is her adorable tail, it wags when she’s happy, just like a little puppy.
Maya loves being talked to. Words of affirmation are definitely her love language! Tell her she’s a good girl and she’ll wriggle around on the floor, rub up against you, and make tiny biscuits.
She’s also not too fussed by dogs, making her a lovely addition to many different households.
Watching Maya blossom in foster care has been such a joy, and we know her forever family is going to fall in love with her affectionate, playful, and quirky personality. Could that be you? 💕

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
