About Calvin
Meet Calvin, affectionately known as Cal, the distinguished gentleman of our rescue who is eager to find his loving family. At nearly nine years old, Calvin has experienced more than his fair share of life's challenges, but his resilient spirit and loving nature shine brighter than ever. After a few months of tender care and rehabilitation at Waggy Tails, Cal is ready to embrace a new chapter filled with warmth and affection.
Calvin is a true gem, and we're looking for a special home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love and tranquility. He is ideally suited to an older, retired couple who can shower him with the attention he so richly deserves. Cal yearns for a calm and quiet environment where he can indulge in the finer things in life—a cozy spot on the couch for resting, and perhaps a window to sit nearby and watch the world go by. Calvin can be very fearful of men and definitely will not be suited to a family where he has to spend a lot of time alone, so a retired or work from home environment will be best for this gorgeous soul.
Having recently undergone desexing, vaccination, worming, and a dental cleaning, Calvin is in tip-top health and ready for the serenity he's longed for. His gentle and loving disposition makes him a wonderful companion, but it's important that his new household is without young children, allowing him to relish in the peace and comfort he quietly craves.
Saying goodbye to Calvin will be incredibly difficult for us at Waggy Tails, as we've become deeply attached to this lovely soul. Yet, we know he is destined to be a cherished member of a family who will appreciate his docile nature and unwavering loyalty. Embrace Calvin into your heart, and you'll discover a love that promises to enrich every day with a gentle, heartfelt connection.
