About Daisy - 8 Week Old Kelpie X
Daisy is an 8 week old, female, Kelpie X puppy with a gentle, affectionate nature and the sweetest little personality. After a rough start to life, she has thrived in foster care and is now a happy, healthy girl looking for her forever family.
Daisy can be a little shy in new situations, but once she feels safe she is incredibly loving and forms strong bonds with her people. She's the type of puppy who loves to be close by, whether that's following you around the house or curling up nearby for a nap.
Daisy is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. She has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. She's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Daisy will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Daisy. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Daisy needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Daisy’s siblings Evie, Benny & Maple are also available for adoption.
Daisy's adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Daisy is in foster care in Lake Macquarie, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
