About Pippin
Pippin is a sweet and sensitive little guinea pig looking for a calm, understanding home where he can truly come out of his shell. A shy boy at first, Pippin blossoms with patience, gentle handling and plenty of reassurance, rewarding his people with adorable squeaks and curious little adventures once he feels safe. He will thrive in a large indoor only setup with a quiet, gentle family who understand his need to settle in at his own pace. He may also do well with another desexed guinea pig friend pending introductions. Pippin absolutely loves enrichment and tasty veggies. He enjoys tunnels to zoom through, hay piles to burrow in, forage boxes filled with treats, chew toys, cozy hideaways and snack time with fresh greens to munch on.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
