About Wyatt
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A grassed yard for Wyatt's zoomies
- Children over 8 years
Wyatt has never been in a gunfight at the O.K. Corral (like his namesake) instead he is a much more a lover than a fighter! He is turning 2 years in May and so is still very much a big puppy and can be excitable, but he does calm down.
He presently lives with a 3yo female greyhound and gets on fine, but we think he may also be okay as a single dog as long as he gets a good walk and lots of love. He just loves going for his walks and gets very excited initially but then calms down as he goes further. He travels well in the car and can usually jump in unassisted.
Wyatt absolutely loves water and enjoys lazing in his pool on warmer days. He enjoys his food and is a good eater.
Wyatt would be suited to a family with school age children who are dog savvy or parents that can teach them. Alternatively, an active older person who will walk/play with him.
We think whoever adopts him will be rewarded with a wonderful boy, they may just need a little patience as Wyatt is still finding his way in the pet world.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
