Introducing Mick!

Mick is a super sweet boy who would love an active home to take him out on plenty of adventures and walks. He holds the self proclaimed titles of "Most Handsome Boy In Shelter", and "Professional Treat Catcher".

This guy can be a little unsure of new people, and likes to take his tie to make sure he can really trust them. So Mick would be suited to either an adults only home, or a family with dog savvy secondary school aged children, who can have calm interactions with him, and respect the space he needs to feel safe. If there are any children living at home, they will need to join you in a meet and greet with Mick to ensure everyone will be comfortable with each other.

Mick has shown us that he's not the biggest fan of dogs here in the shelter, and will need a home where he is the only pet. He might be interested in meeting other dogs in the future, but will need his new family to help him gain confidnce along the way.

Being a lover of treats, Mick would LOVE to conitnue his reward based training to learn some cool new tricks, so a home that is committed to ongoing, force free training will be great for not only building a bond giving Mick some more confidence!
