About Tank
Meet Tank š¾
14-year-old Border Collie Cross | Gentle, Loyal, and Loving
Tank is a beautiful old soul ready to spend his golden years in comfort and companionship. At 14 years young, this sweet gentleman has a calm, loving nature and a heart full of affection for his people.
Tank lives for the simple things-being close to you, enjoying a slow stroll, and settling in for a good cuddle session. He has lovely, polite lead manners and is more than happy to take life at an easy pace. His running-around days are behind him, and now he's all about relaxing, soaking up pats, and enjoying cosy couch time.
He's wonderfully easygoing and would happily share his home with other calm, like-minded dogs who also prefer a peaceful environment. Tank isn't looking for playmates, just respectful companions who are happy to coexist and enjoy the quiet life alongside him.
Tank's ideal home:
A calm, loving household
Someone who enjoys gentle walks and quiet time
A comfy couch (or two!) and plenty of pats
Optional calm dog companions
If you're ready to give a senior dog the love and comfort he deserves, Tank will repay you with unwavering loyalty and gentle companionship. He's the perfect best friend for someone who appreciates the beauty of slowing down.
To book a meet and greet with Tank, please contact the BARC team by phone or email:

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
