About Joe - 11 Week Old Mixed Breed
š¾ Meet Joe! š¾
āWhat breed is he?ā we hear you ask! Maybe heās a Jack Russell mix, maybe a Kelpie mix ā your guess is as good as ours!
Whatever his breed, one thing is certain: Joe is absolutely adorable. This sweet little guy is full of cuddles, charm, and has a tail that never seems to stop wagging. With his happy-go-lucky personality and affectionate nature, Joe is always ready to make new friends and brighten your day.
If youāre looking for a fun-loving companion with plenty of love to give, Joe might just be your perfect match.
š Friendly & FunāLoving
Joe is a true social butterfly who adores people and other dogs alike. He loves backyard zoomies, tugāoāwar, and playful wrestling with his foster siblings. If thereās fun happening, Joe wants to be part of it!
š” Smart & Keen to Learn
This clever boy is doing wonderfully with toilet training and is learning his basic cues like sit and come ā especially when treats are involved! With continued positive training, Joe is going to thrive.
š¾ Curious, Active & FamilyāOriented
Joe loves being involved in everyday life and will happily follow you around as your little shadow. Heās best suited to an active family committed to training, enrichment, and regular adventures to keep his bright mind busy.
š CrateāTrained & Certified Cuddle Bug
At bedtime, Joe happily settles into his crate and sleeps indoors close to his people, where he feels safe and secure. When playtime is over, heās all about lap snoozes and cozy cuddles.
⨠Big Personality, Bigger Heart
Joe is the perfect mix of playful, loving, and a little bit sassy. From toyāchewing and games to quiet snuggle time, heās guaranteed to bring joy, laughter, and lots of love into your home.
š Joe is ready to meet his forever family ā could it be you?
Joe is a healthy puppy who has been fostered in a home environment. He has been well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and medium) and gets along well with them all, although can be a little timid at first. He's met lots of people, including older children and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Joe will grow up to be a small to medium sized dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly and patient adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Joe. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there should be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Joe needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Joeās siblings will also be available for adoption soon.
Joeās adoption fee is $800 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Joe is in foster care in Bolwarra, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
