About Pickles - 12 Week Old Kelpie X
Meet Pickles š¾
Pickles is a gorgeous young puppy with the sweetest nature and a beautifully balanced personality. Heās a quietly confident little boy who enjoys playing and roughhousing with his sister and has settled in wonderfully with the medium-sized resident dog in his foster home.
While he loves a good play session, Pickles also has an independent side. When heās had enough excitement, heās happy to wander off for some quiet time, take a nap, or simply sit back and watch the world go by.
Pickles is incredibly affectionate and loves being around his people. He greets everyone with a happy tail wag, enjoys a cuddle, and is more than content to fall asleep in your lap after a busy day of puppy adventures.
He is already doing very well with his routine, sleeping through the night in his crate and waking up to a clean bed each morning. Toilet training has begun and he is learning to use puppy pads, which he is picking up quickly. He is also starting to learn basic manners, including sitting and waiting patiently for his meals.
Pickles would be happy living with another friendly dog who can continue to show him the ropes, but he would also do well as an only dog provided he receives plenty of love, attention, and cuddles from his humans.
Like all puppies, Pickles is looking for a family committed to ongoing training, socialisation, and helping him grow into a happy, confident adult dog. In return, you'll gain a loyal little companion with a gentle heart and plenty of love to give. š

His adoption fee is $800, which includes desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped.
He is currently in foster care in Bateau Bay, NSW. As he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption within the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland, Cessnock, Upper Hunter including Singleton and Muswellbrook), as well as the Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months.

He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
