About Opal
💖 Meet Opal 💖
There is something truly special about Opal. With her gentle nature, soft eyes, and loving heart, she is the definition of a sweet Cavalier companion.
At 6 years and 5 months old, Opal has a calm and settled temperament that makes her an absolute pleasure to have around. She is not demanding or boisterous; instead, she quietly enjoys being part of the family and simply wants to be close to those she loves. Whether she's curled up beside you on the couch, relaxing on the verandah, or following her canine friends around the yard, Opal is happiest when surrounded by companionship and affection.
Opal is an incredibly affectionate girl who thrives on cuddles, praise, and gentle attention. Her favourite pastime is undoubtedly snuggling up with her people and soaking up all the love she can get. She has a very soft and submissive personality and is the type of dog who will melt into your arms for a tummy rub.
While she enjoys a daily run and play with her doggy friends, Opal is generally a quiet and relaxed girl. She is not a big barker and is content to spend most of her day lounging nearby, watching the world go by, and enjoying the comfort of being part of a loving home.
🐾 Dog Friendly
Opal absolutely adores other dogs and has formed particularly close bonds with the dogs in her foster home. She spends much of her day alongside her canine companions and genuinely enjoys their company. Whether she's following them around the yard, relaxing beside them, or joining them for a run, Opal takes comfort and confidence from having other dogs around her.
Because of this, Opal is looking for a home with another friendly and social dog. We do not feel she would be happiest as an only dog, as she clearly thrives when she has a canine friend to share her days with. A suitable doggy companion will help her continue to blossom and feel secure in her new home.
🐾 Kid Friendly
Opal has shown herself to be a gentle and loving companion around children. She would be well suited to a family with respectful children aged 12 months and older who can interact kindly with her and understand when she would like some quiet time. Her calm temperament and affectionate nature make her a lovely addition to a family environment.
🐾 Life with Opal
Opal is toilet trained, walks beautifully on lead, and has lovely manners around the home. She settles easily and enjoys the simple things in life—comfortable places to nap, a gentle stroll, canine companionship, and plenty of affection from her people.
She is the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much but gives so much in return. Her sweet nature, unwavering loyalty, and gentle presence make her a truly special little girl.
If you are looking for a calm, loving companion and already have a friendly dog searching for a best friend, Opal may just be the perfect addition to your family. She is ready to fill her forever home with love, companionship, and endless cuddles. 💕🐾
