Gertrude

Meet Gertrude- a lovely German Shorthaired Pointer lady looking to spend her retirement curled up on the couch and spending qaulity time with you.

At 11 years old, Gertrude holds a great amount of wisdom! But don't let that number fool you, she still chases balls and toys like she is still a puppy. She absolutely adores a ball, and her forever family are required to throw the ball till her heart's content! She would also appreciate a companion who will take her on strolls and walks, she is certainly going to be talk of the town with that gorgeous face of hers! You may notice that her tail is shorter in size, this makes her even more unique!

Gertrude would be okay to go home to a doggy friend, pending on a sucessful meet and greet to ensure that they are going to be best mates. She would also prefer to go to a home with Secondary aged children and older, where they are confident with her jumpy energy and understand when she needs her nanna naps and quiet time.

The shelter is no place for an older dog like Gertrude to be. She would much rather be in a home where she can get warm by the fire, curl up on the couch with her companions and all of the treats she can get her hands on. A home where she can feel safe, loved, and toasty warm.
