About Trixie
Hello, my name is Trixie. I’m a gorgeous young Kelpie girl with a loving nature, a clever mind, and a very cuddly side.
I’m a sweet, intelligent and bubbly girl who is looking for an active forever home where I can keep learning, growing and becoming a treasured part of the family. I have a big heart and I love being close to my humans, so I’m always up for a cuddle or a quiet snuggle beside you while you watch TV.
Like many young Kelpies, I still have plenty of puppy energy and I love a good run around, toys, and activities that keep my body and mind busy. I’m a very clever girl and have already learned a trick or two in just a day in my foster home, so I’d love a family who will enjoy continuing my training and giving me fun enrichment to help me stay happy and content.
I’m also a social little lady who loves the company of other dogs and would be thrilled in a home with a friendly canine sibling to play with, follow around and learn from. I respond really well to calm guidance and redirection and I’m keen to please, which makes me a lovely companion for people who can keep up with my bright young brain.
I’m looking for a home that will adore me for the special girl I am - one that will include me in daily life, give me plenty of love and affection and help me keep blossoming into the wonderful dog I’m meant to be.
Could I be the perfect addition to your family?

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
