Lucian is a truly striking adult black cat with a silky coat and a gentle, loving nature to match his good looks. He's the kind of cat who turns heads at first glance-and wins hearts the moment you get to know him.
This lovely boy has lived with another cat his whole life, so he's well-versed in feline friendships. Since arriving at the shelter, Lucian has been spending time getting to know some new kitty companions and is adjusting beautifully. With a little time and thoughtful introductions, he's expected to settle in wonderfully with a new cat friend at home.
Lucian is incredibly people-oriented and thrives on affection. He's friendly, social, and always ready for a cuddle. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or moving about your day, Lucian will happily keep you company, eager to be part of whatever you're doing. He has a calm, gentle presence and will quickly become your go-to snuggle buddy.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
