About Raymond
*** Please note, we can not place any animals on hold. Make your way to our shelter as soon as possible if you would like to adopt Ayemunde. ***
Hello there, human friends. My name is Ayemunde, and I am a distinguished, 9-and-a-half-year-old gentleman looking for my forever retirement castle. Finding a Burmese in a shelter is an absolute rarity, so I know I am a truly special catch. I was recently found wandering the streets of North Melbourne as a stray, and while my past is a bit of a mystery, I am completely ready to start my next chapter in a loving home.
Because of my time on the streets, I can be a little bit timid when meeting unfamiliar people for the first time. I just need a moment to assess my surroundings and realize I am safe. If you are patient with me, offer me a few yummy treats, and give me some pats, I will warm up to you in no time at all. Once I know I can trust you, the famously affectionate, loyal, and vocal Burmese personality will truly shine through.
Please be aware that Burmese cats rarely come into our shelter and tend to get adopted very, very quickly. Because of this high demand, we are strictly unable to put any animals on hold. If you are interested in making me a part of your family, please do not call or email to apply. The Lost Dogs' Home operates on a walk-in basis, so you will just need to make your way down to our shelter as soon as you can to meet me in person. I am waiting to find my perfect match, so please come visit me today!
