About Chifley
Meet Chifley 💛🐾
Chifley is a stunning 10-week-old champagne male kitten bursting with personality and charm! This little guy is as loud as he is lovable - he's always ready to let you know exactly what he thinks and will happily chat your ear off throughout the day.
Full of energy and curiosity, Chifley approaches life at full speed. Whether he's chasing toys, zooming around the house, or climbing anything he can reach, he brings excitement and laughter wherever he goes.
Chifley's ideal home is with someone who enjoys constant companionship and doesn't mind a "helper" who insists on being involved in absolutely everything. He will happily supervise your daily tasks, investigate whatever you're doing, and make sure you're never alone for a moment!
He will come:
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Desexed
✅ Up to date with flea and worm treatments
If you're looking for a bold, affectionate, and entertaining little sidekick who will keep you smiling (and on your toes), Chifley might just be your perfect match! 💕
To book a meet and greet with Chifley, please contact the BARC team by phone or email:
03 5441 2209 and BARCreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au
Due to the high volume of emails received, inquiries requesting a specific appointment, and including phone contact details, will receive a prioritised response over generic applications to meet an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
