About Picasso
Ahhh. I see you are needing some love and affection in your life, and I am just the dog to give you all the cuddles you need. Let me tell you a little about myself so we can get to know each other.
My name is Picasso and I am looking for a family to love and cherish me forever. Also, a family that I can love and protect... I may only be small but I am brave and have a huge heart!
I am dog friendly and would love to have another small doggy friend in my new home, but people are my main focus. I am not a fan of bigger dogs at all and will chase them away from me so I feel strong and safe. Yes, I do have a rather bad case of small dog syndrome, but that is definitely one of my most endearing qualities.
I don't like to share food, even with my favourite foster siblings, so need to be fed separately but I enjoy playing chase with my little doggy friends in my foster home. I am still learning to share my toys. Oh, and, like many small dogs, I detest having my claws clipped!!!
I do really adore children, but if you do have children, I must have older children in my new family who won't drop me or be too rough with me. I am a delicate little pooch and need love and pampering.
I sleep happily in a bed on the floor at night and am completely house trained when I have access to going outside whenever I choose.
I must have someone home with me the majority of the time as I am a companion dog and wouldn't like to be alone for extended periods.
Being only a small dog, I can be a little yappy. I announce visitors quite excitedly, but settle quickly once they come inside. My bark isn't loud but I am talkative and like to chat to you with little yaps. Are you a conversationalist too?
I have been very loved, but my soul mate, my daddy, passed away recently, so I am left with the task of searching for a new soul mate to love me.
Are you my new soul mate? Your lap will never be empty again!
Hugs and kisses,
Picasso.
