Sushi

Sushi the Shar Pei is the definition of a gentle soul. This 4-year old doesn’t take long to win his love — give him a soft place to lay, a little kindness, and he’s yours. He’s an easy going boy who’s happiest lounging on pillows, blankets, beds, or anything comfortable enough for a good nap. He doesn't have separation anxiety or try to escape from the yard.

He does get adorably excited for walks and is starting to discover the joy of toys because he’s never had the chance to play. He has just enough sass when according to him you haven’t given him enough belly rubs. He barely barks, maybe if someone knocks at the door. When the neighbours’ dogs are barking he seems more grumbly annoyed that they are keeping him from his nap than to bark back. He hasn't seemed particularly interested in dogs he's met at the vets either.

More than anything, he wants a calm, loving home where he can feel safe, spoiled, and part of the family. He’s affectionate, loyal, and so ready to give his heart to someone special. He is definitely gentle enough to be around children and would love the extra attention.
