Hi there… I’m Archie, your quiet little observer and professional safe-spot finder. I’m still learning that humans aren’t so scary, so right now I prefer to admire you from afar while I figure this whole friendship thing out.

At the moment, pats aren’t really my cup of tea, I’m much more comfortable having my own space while I build my confidence. But don’t mistake my cautious nature for a lack of sweetness. I’m a gentle soul, simply taking life one brave little step at a time.

You’ll often find me tucked away in my favourite safe places, perched high on a cat tower, curled up in a warm cosy bed, or quietly supervising life from the couch at a comfortable distance. I also absolutely love the cat run, where I can stretch my legs, explore, and enjoy the world in a way that feels safe to me.

One thing I do know for certain? I adore other cats. Feline friends make me feel comfortable and help me feel brave, so I’d absolutely thrive in a home with a confident, friendly cat buddy to show me the ropes.

I’m looking for a patient, understanding family who won’t rush me and will celebrate the little wins along the way. I may not be the cat who jumps into your lap on day one, but for someone willing to give me time, I’ll be the quiet kind of magic that slowly unfolds.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with a 10-month-old baby and prefer to keep my distance from her. There’s no reason I can’t live with children, provided they understand they can’t touch me unless I ask them to!

I would be best suited to a home with another cat friend to help me gain confidence, but I could also be your only cat if you’re home often and have plenty of time to dedicate to teaching me to trust humans at my own pace.

I also live with dogs and don’t mind them at all.

✅ I love treats, the cat run, and safe hidey holes!

🚫 I dislike sudden movements, loud noises, and being touched.

My PURR-fect home would include a cat friend to keep me company, as well as an indoor-only setup or a home with a secure cat run to keep me safe from the streets. We want me to learn to trust humans, not fear them more.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
