About Evie - 8 Week Old Kelpie
Evie is a very sweet natured, gentle, intelligent pup. She is a happy, easy-going little girl which makes looking after her an absolute pleasure.
Evie had a rough start to life and can be timid in new situations but, with some gentle reassurance, she is very friendly and loving. Being a working breed that is energetic and highly intelligent, Evie will need an owner that understands the important of regular exercise and mental stimulation.
Evie is a healthy pup who has been raised in a home environment. She has been well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs and gets on with them all. She can be shy at first and nervous in new situations but is friendly and affectionate with people once she gets to know them. She loves romping with her brother then loves to cuddle on your lap or have a nap. She is a big snuggle-bug. She sleeps through the night and has learnt go to the toilet on the pee pads. Evie just wants to please and, with her high intelligence, she will be easy to train. We recommend puppy training classes to give her the best start in life.
Evie is friendly with other dogs but adores the company of humans and would make an amazing companion dog or family member for an active family.
Evie needs to be welcome inside and be part of the family and to sleep inside. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can’t go to rural fencing (e.g. mesh or wire).
Evie is such a sweet girl with a lovely nature and will make an amazing companion. Her brother Benny is also available for adoption.
Her adoption fee is $800, which includes desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped.
She is currently in foster care in Pokolbin, NSW. As she is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption within the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland, Cessnock, Upper Hunter including Singleton and Muswellbrook), as well as the Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months.
