Rocket came into care a bit shy and unsure, but with time, handling, and his favourite Churu treats, he has really come along. He has now become a sweet, loving boy and has decided he very much likes attention! He is on the fast track to becoming an affectionate cat and simply can’t wait for his own family.
If you have a small child looking for first pet or a teenager who will dote on a kitten, Rocket would be a loyal companion.

If you are looking for a cat who will acknowledge your arrival, here he is! Just wait until you hear his squeak of delight as you walk past, bring him food, or reach in for a pat. If you ignore it, expect a Needy squeal, and if you dare ignore that, expect a very amusing attempt at a pretend howl.

Of course, as soon as you pat Rocket, he will give up his act and start his purr motor. He is easy to pat, scratch, and pick up. He will tolerate a short cuddle, but then he will probably jump down, ready to go explore and play!

Rocket loves to chase a ball, swat a wand toy, or stroll back and forth along a windowsill safely watching birds outside. He sleeps on a hammock and loves his cat tower.

Early signs of good confidence are showing: he is bold, inquisitive, and hits most of the little day-to-day milestones first. He is very observant of the large dog, and he absolutely loves playing with the resident cats. Any friendly pets in your house will make Rocket happy.

Being a perfect mix of interest in people, toys, and other pets, Rocket will fit into a variety of homes.

*PLEASE NOTE - all of our cats are INDOOR only cats and not allowed outside unless in a cat run or supervised on a harness.

3. Photos MUST be included in your application form.

4. Please note if you are under 18 years old the application needs to be completed by a parent or legal guardian. If you are shortlisted for an interview it will be conducted along with a parent or legal guardian.

Even though we are based in Carnarvon, we have animals located in various locations and we can assist with some transport within Western Australia. Please check location of each animal before applying.
