About Bindi
🐾💕 Meet Bindi – The Little Snaggle-Toothed Princess Who Will Steal Your Heart! 💕🐾
7 Years & 5 Months Old Pekingese - Professional Snuggler - Part-Time Food Inspector - Full-Time Little Treasure
Some dogs make you smile…
And then there is Bindi. 🥰
One look at that adorable little face, those gorgeous eyes and her tiny snaggle tooth, and you can't help but fall completely in love. Honestly, we're not sure how anyone could look at Bindi and not immediately think, "Yep… you're coming home with me!" 😂❤️
Bindi came into our care through no fault of her own, She is the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your heart and then somehow becomes one of those little souls you simply can't imagine life without.
She is a very chilled, easy-going girl who is perfectly happy to spend her day doing what she does best — sleeping! 😂
Bed? Yep.
Couch? Absolutely.
Dog bed? Of course.
Sunny patch? Definitely.
Cool tiles? When the weather calls for it.
Open pen with a cosy blanket? That's basically her private suite.
Bindi has an incredible talent for finding the most comfortable spot available and settling in for a snooze. On cold mornings, she isn't particularly interested in getting out of bed… unless, of course, she hears food being prepared. Then suddenly this sleepy little lady discovers she has somewhere important to be! 😂
And speaking of food… Bindi LOVES food. ❤️
She is a very enthusiastic little foodie and her foster mum has learnt that if another dog hasn't finished their dinner, Bindi may casually wander over to conduct a thorough quality-control inspection. 😂
She isn't naughty about it — she just firmly believes that wasting food is simply not an option!
Bindi is also a wonderful little companion. She loves being where her humans are and will happily "help" with absolutely everything.
Taking the bins out? She's coming.
Gardening? She's supervising.
Walking around the property? She's exploring alongside you.
Going for a drive? Absolutely!
Bindi LOVES car rides and would happily spend her days accompanying her humans on little adventures, running errands and perhaps stopping somewhere for a coffee along the way. She really is the perfect little sidekick. ☕🚗🐾
She enjoys her walks too and is good on lead, although Bindi prefers to walk at Bindi speed — she has places to sniff, things to investigate and absolutely no reason to rush. 😂
At home, she's wonderfully quiet. In fact, one of the loudest things you're likely to hear from Bindi is her adorable little snores while she's fast asleep. And honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way. 🥹
Bindi has lived around children all her life and is happy to have a cuddle on her terms. She would be equally happy in an adult-only home where she can be thoroughly spoiled and made the centre of someone's world.
She is currently living happily with dogs of different sizes and ages and enjoys having another dog around for company and a cuddle on the dog beds. She isn't particularly interested in puppies or dogs who are constantly in her face trying to lick her — Bindi is a little lady who appreciates respectful friendships. ❤️
She could happily live with another suitable dog or be perfectly content as an only dog, particularly if her humans enjoy taking her along on their adventures and including her in family life.
Cats are currently untested, although she has shown no interest in other small animals and happily ignores them.
And then there is one of our favourite things about Bindi…
Her nightly hug. 🥹❤️
Each night, Bindi gives her foster mum the sweetest little hug, and it's one of those tiny moments that makes you realise just how special she is.
She may be a little independent and likes to choose when she wants her cuddles, but when Bindi decides to show you affection, you know you've been chosen. ❤️
Bindi is toilet trained, can use a doggy door and is comfortable with a crate or pen — although she much prefers the doors to be left open so she can make the decision herself. Give her a blanket and she'll happily wander in and claim it as her own.
She does require regular grooming to keep her beautiful coat looking and feeling its best, and she happily heads off to the groomer… because, of course, it's a car ride! 😂
Bindi is simply one of those beautiful little souls who doesn't need to be the centre of attention to make an enormous impact.
She'll sleep beside you.
She'll follow you around.
She'll supervise your gardening.
She'll happily come along for a car ride.
She'll inspect your dinner.
She'll give you her little nightly hug.
And she'll make you smile every single day.
Her foster mum describes her perfectly:
Bindi is just a little furbaby who goes straight into your heart, makes you smile with her personality and leaves you wanting to love on her as much as she'll allow. ❤️
If you're looking for a sweet, friendly, easy-going little companion who is perfectly happy enjoying the simple pleasures of life — a comfy bed, a sunny spot, a car ride, some good food and humans to love — Bindi could be your perfect little princess. 👑🐾

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
