About Honey & Sox
🐾💕 Meet Sox & Honey 💕🐾
Double the dogs.
Double the cuddles.
Double the mischief.
And double the love. ❤️
Sox and Honey are an adorable bonded pair looking for a forever home together after coming into rescue through no fault of their own.
Sox is a 3 year and 9 month old Mini Schnauzer x Poodle weighing 10kg, while Honey is a 3 year and 4 month old Mini Schnauzer weighing 8.9kg.
While they may have different personalities, they share one very important thing in common—they absolutely adore each other.
From playing together to cuddling together, exploring together to napping together, these two are rarely more than a few steps apart. They are best friends in every sense of the word and are looking for a family who will welcome both of them into their hearts.
💛 Meet Sox
If you've ever wanted your own personal assistant, shadow, and professional kisser, Sox may be your dream dog.
This handsome boy believes personal space is highly overrated and would happily spend every minute of every day beside his favourite humans.
His favourite place in the house?
Wherever you are.
Whether you're cooking dinner, watching television, working from home, or simply walking from one room to another, Sox is right there making sure you're never lonely.
He is affectionate, playful, and absolutely showering his people with kisses is one of his favourite hobbies.
He also has a rather unusual passion...
Bras.
Not socks.
Not shoes.
Bras. 😂
If something has mysteriously disappeared from the washing basket, there's a very good chance Sox knows exactly where it is.
💛 Meet Honey
Honey is the quieter half of this dynamic duo, but don't mistake quiet for boring.
This little lady knows exactly what she wants.
And usually what she wants is attention.
Honey has mastered the art of climbing onto your chest and gently demanding pats until she is satisfied with the amount of affection received.
She also loves creating her own little hideaways around the house. Under the bed, beneath the couch, tucked away with a treasured treat—if there's a cosy hiding spot available, Honey will find it.
While Sox wants to be attached to you, Honey enjoys having her own secret headquarters.
Together they make the perfect team.
These two absolutely love their walks and would happily accompany their family on daily adventures. They are energetic, playful dogs who enjoy exercise, active play, and plenty of interaction.
Their foster family reports that every evening after dinner turns into a full-blown WWE wrestling match as the pair bounce, wrestle, chase, and entertain themselves (and everyone watching) with their antics.
When they're not busy wrestling, you'll find them curled up together enjoying a well-earned nap.
Sox and Honey are dog friendly and enjoy the company of other small dogs, although Honey can be a little unsure of larger dogs. They walk beautifully on lead and while they can be distracted by interesting sights and smells, they are not reactive or aggressive.
One thing that is absolutely non-negotiable is that these two must stay together.
They rely on each other for comfort, companionship, confidence, and friendship.
Their bond is beautiful to watch and it is clear they are happiest when side by side.
Sox and Honey are looking for a family who will embrace their playful personalities, laugh at their quirks, and provide them with the love and companionship they deserve.
In return, you'll receive endless affection, daily entertainment, plenty of laughs, and the kind of unconditional love only rescue dogs can give.
🐾 Two best friends.
💕 One incredible bond.
😂 Endless entertainment.
❤️ Twice the love

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
