Meet Grinch 💚🐾

Grinch's story began just before Christmas when he was one of 14 cats heartbreakingly dumped at our facility. Understandably, the experience left him wary of people and uncertain about the world around him.

True to his name, Grinch initially showed us his grumpy side. He made it very clear that trust would need to be earned, not given freely. But just like the famous Grinch himself, we're starting to see his heart grow a little bigger every day.

Behind that tough exterior is a cat who is slowly learning that people can be kind. While he still prefers to take things at his own pace, he has begun showing glimpses of the sweet boy hidden beneath the protective walls he's built around himself.

Grinch is looking for a patient, cat-savvy home with someone who understands feline behaviour and is willing to let him adjust slowly to his new life. He won't be the cat who jumps straight into your lap on day one, but for the right person, helping Grinch learn to trust and feel safe will be an incredibly rewarding journey.

He needs a calm environment, realistic expectations, and a family who will celebrate the small victories along the way. With time, consistency, and understanding, we believe Grinch has all the potential to become a wonderful companion.
