About Cricket
๐10 Months Old - Chihuahua - Tiny Body, Huge Opinions ๐
Before we begin, Cricket would like it officially noted that she is, in fact, the boss.
Of everyone.
Including you.
Especially you ๐
At just 10 months old, Cricket is everything people love about Chihuahuas wrapped up in one tiny, adorable package. She's sweet, sassy, clever, affectionate with her people, hilarious, and completely convinced she is at least ten times bigger than she actually is.
This little girl lives life at two speeds:
๐ Full-speed zoomies
๐ด Professional snuggler
There is absolutely no in-between.
One minute she's tearing around the yard at what appears to be the speed of sound, chasing toys, wrestling her doggy friends, and investigating absolutely everything.
The next minute she's curled up beside her favourite person having the deepest puppy nap known to mankind.
And honestly?
She's perfect.
Cricket absolutely adores her people.
She loves being involved in family life, supervising household activities, and making sure nobody is doing anything without her approval.
Her favourite place in the world is wherever her person happens to be.
On the couch?
She's there.
In bed?
She's already under the blankets or wrapped around your head
Walking around the house?
Don't worry, your tiny supervisor is following closely behind.
At night Cricket firmly believes beds were invented for cuddling and she takes her snuggling responsibilities very seriously.
In fact, she's less "dog" and more "heated throw blanket with opinions."
๐
Like many Chihuahuas, Cricket likes to decide for herself who she wants to be friends with. She loves her family deeply but can initially be a little unsure of strangers. She's not rude about itโshe simply likes to conduct a proper assessment before deciding whether you're worthy of her affection.
Once you're approved though?
You'll have a best friend for life.
Cricket is incredibly dog friendly and absolutely loves having canine companions. In fact, she occasionally forgets she's tiny and will happily use larger dogs as furniture, stepping stones, pillows, or elevated viewing platforms.
The other dogs don't always get a vote in this arrangement ๐
Because she loves having playmates, wrestling partners, and cuddle buddies, we think Cricket would thrive in a home with another friendly dog.
She's still a baby herself and is learning all about the world around her. She's doing wonderfully with her toilet training and happily takes herself outside, although she does have one condition...
Wet grass is offensive.
Long grass is suspicious.
Princess Cricket would much prefer ideal weather conditions for bathroom breaks ๐
Food is one of Cricket's great loves in life, along with toys, praise, cuddles, muddy puddles, and basically anything that looks fun.
She's playful, affectionate, funny, and endlessly entertaining.
She has a surprisingly impressive bark for such a tiny dog and takes her role as family protector very seriously, even if she's occasionally protecting everyone from absolutely nothing at all ๐
What Cricket needs most is a family who understands and appreciates the wonderful Chihuahua personality.
A family who will laugh at her sass.
Adore her cuddles.
Encourage her confidence.
And include her in everyday life.
Because underneath all that attitude is a beautiful little girl with a huge heart who loves deeply and completely.
And while Cricket may think she's in charge...
The truth is she'll quietly steal your heart before you even realise it's happening ๐
๐พ Tiny dog.
๐ Massive personality.
๐ Queen of the household.
Meet Cricket.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.

Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
