About Hannah
πΎπ Meet Hannah ππΎ
4.5kg of sass, snuggles, sniffaris, and very strong opinions about which direction a walk should go. π
Hannah is a 3 year and 8 month old Mini Fox Terrier X who came into care through absolutely no fault of her own after a change in her family's circumstances.
Before we tell you about Hannah's hilarious walk-time protests, her love of cuddles, and her impressive zoomie skills, there's one important thing to know about this sweet little girl...
Hannah can be very shy when meeting new people.
She isn't the type of dog who runs up to strangers demanding pats and attention. New people and unfamiliar situations can make her feel a little unsure, and she needs time to build confidence and trust.
But please don't mistake her shyness for a lack of personality.
Because once Hannah feels safe, settled, and comfortable, her true self begins to shine.
And what a beautiful personality it is. π
The shy little girl slowly transforms into a funny, affectionate, quirky companion who wants to be involved in every part of your day.
The Hannah who follows you from room to room.
The Hannah who insists on being included in family activities.
The Hannah who melts into your lap for cuddles.
The Hannah who celebrates your arrival home with full-speed zoomies.
The Hannah who loves deeply and completely.
Watching her confidence grow and earning her trust is one of the most rewarding things about her.
This sweet little girl has perfected the art of being wherever her human is at all times.
Cooking dinner? Hannah is there.
Watching TV? Hannah is there.
Going to the bathroom? Hannah would like to discuss why she wasn't invited.
If Velcro made dogs, they'd probably look a lot like Hannah. π
Her favourite place in the world is curled up beside her person, preferably touching at all times. Under a blanket is even better. On your lap is perfection.
But don't let her cuddly nature fool you...
This little lady has a playful streak and a sense of humour all her own.
Hannah absolutely loves her daily walks and takes her role as Chief Sniffing Officer very seriously. Every leaf, blade of grass, and mysterious smell deserves a full investigation.
And if you happen to suggest a walking route she disagrees with?
Well...
Hannah has developed a highly sophisticated negotiation tactic.
She dramatically flops onto her back and plays dead until discussions can be reopened. π
It's impossible not to laugh.
She also adores car rides, zooming around the yard, and celebrating life's exciting moments with full-speed happy dances.
Dinner time?
Zoomies.
You get home from work?
Zoomies.
Someone looks at her?
Possibly zoomies.
Hannah believes joy should always be expressed enthusiastically.
She's also a bit of a foodie and firmly believes that life's too short for boring dinners. π
Through trial and error, we've discovered that Hannah doesn't do well on supermarket tinned dog food, which can cause vomiting and hair loss. She thrives on good-quality, balanced nutrition and absolutely loves meals such as lean beef or chicken with pumpkin, sweet potato, rice, and other wholesome ingredients.
A little princess she may be, but she's never happier than when good food is involved. ππ
When it comes to other dogs, Hannah is very much a "quality over quantity" kind of girl.
She loves small, gentle dogs who enjoy friendship, naps, and occasional zoomies. Rough, boisterous dogs are not really her style.
For this reason, Hannah must have another calm, friendly small breed dog in her new home.
Having a confident little canine friend helps Hannah feel safe, build confidence, and navigate new situations. She takes comfort from having another dog around and truly blossoms when she has a gentle companion by her side.
As for children, Hannah is wonderful with respectful older kids who understand that tiny dogs deserve gentle handling and quiet cuddles.
Hannah isn't looking for a mansion.
She isn't looking for endless adventures.
She's looking for patience.
She's looking for understanding.
She's looking for a person who will give her the time she needs to settle and trust.
A lap.
A walking buddy.
A fellow blanket enthusiast.
A little dog friend.
Someone who will adore her quirky little personality and laugh every time she stages a dramatic protest on a walk.
Most of all, she's looking for a family who will love her as much as she will love them.
And trust us...
That's a lot of love. π
πΎ Tiny dog.
π Huge heart.
π Award-winning walk-time drama queen.
π Professional cuddle specialist.
π‘ Requires another gentle small breed dog.
β¨ Shy at first, devoted forever.
