About Todo
Todo arrived a few months ago after self rescuing on someone’s doorstep.
Being prey animals, when pigeons get hurt it can often go unnoticed. Even the little things like the stray feather on their chest can indicate that something may be more out of place underneath which was true for this one.
Upon assessment Todo had 2 fairly large lacerations along their neck which was consistent with an encounter with a bird of prey. So they are unluckily lucky : unluckily in that they were attacked, but lucky they sought help at the right doorstep and got away!
Todo likes to show his appreciation for his rescue in an odd way at the moment: by nibbling and playfighting with your fingers! Todo has become a very confident boy, and promises he is being friendly! As a teenager pigeon currently, he is going through “cooberty” and enjoying all the perks of sparring. Whenever you walk past his cage he gets excited and does a little dance!
Todo wouldn’t mind if he was a beloved solo pigeon or a companion to other birds!
