My Ideal Home:
• Although I am an indoor Kitty so I can live a long, happy and healthy life, I love watching the world go by — a secure cat enclosure or some supervised harness time (once I’m settled) would be a wonderful bonus.
• A good-quality dry food diet would help keep my teeth healthy and sparkling.
• Toys, enrichment, and fun activities will keep my clever mind busy and content.
• A home filled with lots of love, patience, and attention.
• I’m happy to share my space with another friendly cat.
• I do have a slightly feisty side, so I’d prefer a home without young children who may not understand when I need space.
• I can be very shy when settling into a new environment and may hide at first. I’ll need a calm, patient person who can give me time, reassurance, and gentle encouragement to help me feel safe and loved.
• With slow introductions, I may be happy to coexist with cat-friendly dogs.
• Regular grooming will keep me looking and feeling my best.
• In my golden years, I’m looking for a calm, relaxed home — only adults or older children.

Medical:
• As a senior kitty, I’ll need a family who understands that age-related medical care may be needed in the future.
• I am allergic to fleas and prone to skin irritation. I will need to be up to date with parasite control and no fleas in the home.
• Grade 3 heart murmur detected, no action required, but monitor in future

Please note that adoption applications can only be approved if you’re able to visit the shelter to meet Puss in person.
