About Tazzie
🐾 Meet Tazzie 🐾
Tazzie is a 2 year old British Bulldog who is 28kgs of love, Loyalty & Squishy Cuddles 💛
Some dogs come into your life with noise and excitement.
Tazzie comes into your life quietly... and then somehow finds her way straight into your heart.
This beautiful British Bulldog has recently come into care after her breeder made the difficult decision to downsize and wanted a safe, responsible future for her. Tazzie has never been bred and is now searching for something she has never truly had before...
A family of her very own 💛
From the moment you meet Tazzie, you quickly realise she doesn't want much from life.
A comfy place to nap.
A toy to play with.
A patch of sunshine.
And most importantly...
You.
Tazzie is the kind of dog who simply wants to be wherever her people are. If you're sitting on the couch, she'll be beside you. If you're making a coffee, she'll be there supervising. If you move rooms, she'll quietly follow behind just to make sure you're still nearby.
Because for Tazzie, being close to her people is where she feels safest.
She is an incredibly gentle, affectionate soul who forms strong bonds with those she loves. In fact, if she can't find you, she genuinely worries. Not because she's naughty or demanding, but because she loves deeply and finds comfort in knowing her people are close.
And when you come home?
Prepare yourself.
That famous Bulldog bum starts wagging at approximately 100 miles an hour and her whole body wiggles with pure joy because the best part of her day has finally arrived 🥹
Tazzie is wonderful with children and is currently around children aged 4 and over. She is incredibly gentle and kind, although being a Bulldog she can occasionally forget just how much dog she is and may accidentally bump into someone during moments of excitement.
She gets along beautifully with other dogs and is equally happy living as an only dog or sharing her home with another calm companion who enjoys their own space.
Tazzie enjoys little walks and outings, although she's still building confidence on lead. Long-distance hikes are definitely not on her bucket list. A leisurely stroll, a sniff around the neighbourhood, and a coffee stop with her humans is much more her style ☕🐾
Her favourite hobbies include:
☀️ Sleeping in sunny spots
🧸 Playing with toys
💤 Napping
💛 Following her humans everywhere
🐾 Occasional Bulldog zoomies
🎶 Snoring like she's paying the household bills
Despite her chunky Bulldog appearance, Tazzie is actually quite a sensitive girl. Loud noises can make her nervous and she much prefers calm, predictable environments where she feels secure.
She is fully toilet trained, crate trained, knows basic commands including sit, shake and lay down, and has lovely house manners.
What Tazzie needs most is not an adventure-filled lifestyle.
She needs companionship.
She needs someone who understands that some dogs don't need the world — they simply need their person.
Tazzie would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not. She isn't a dog who wants to spend long days alone in the backyard wondering where everyone has gone. She wants to spend her days snoozing beside you while you work, following you from room to room, and reminding you every day just how special unconditional love can be.
Tazzie is now waiting for her furever home
And we have no doubt that the family lucky enough to welcome this beautiful girl into their lives will wonder how they ever lived without her 💛

Tazzie has dry eye in her left eye, which means her eye doesn't produce enough tears to keep it properly lubricated. She will require regular eye drops as part of her ongoing care. This is something her new family will need to be comfortable managing. [Tazzie has no issues with the drops been put into her eye] ❤️🐾

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
