About Mater
Hi, I'm Mater.
I might be the biggest puppy in the litter, but don't let my size fool you. Underneath it all, I am a complete softy who just wants to be loved.
My favourite thing in the world is being close to my people. If I am not curled up in my bed, there is a very good chance you will find me right at your feet. I like to know what is going on, be part of the family, and make sure I do not miss out on any attention.
I get along well with other dogs and would be happy living with a canine friend, but I would also be perfectly content as an only dog. As long as I have people to love and plenty of cuddles, I am a happy boy.
I enjoy playing with squeaky toys and rope toys, and I have a nice balance between being playful and relaxed. I can have a great time running around and joining in the fun, but I also know how to slow down and enjoy a nap.
I am learning all the important puppy skills, including how to sit. I am doing well with my toileting and happily head outside onto the grass when I need to go. Like any young puppy, I am still learning, but I am making good progress.
At the vet, I am a very good boy. I enjoy the extra attention and am always happy to accept treats. I can be a little vocal when I am playing or when I think I am not getting enough attention, but really, I just like being included.
One thing you should know about me is that I love being the centre of attention. I am not demanding about it, but I definitely enjoy being noticed. Whether it is a pat, a cuddle, or simply sitting beside you, being part of your world is where I am happiest.
My foster carer describes me as the biggest softy, and I think that suits me perfectly. I have a gentle heart, a loving nature, and plenty of affection to give.
If you are looking for a puppy who will be your loyal shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your biggest fan, I would love to meet you.
Love,
Mater
