About Fergus (Located in Wonthaggi)
Fergus (Gus) is a handsome guy with expressive eyes and he is a delightful combination of playful cattitude and snuggly, head butting, purring love bug. He will keep you on your toes with his insistence of interactive play as he delivers house acrobatics for your entertainment.
Fergus is looking for a forever home where he is the only pet as he loves his human companionship and will want all of the attention that he can get all to himself.
He likes to be apart of the action most of the time, including dinner time, he has no interest in human food but just likes to ‘help’. He is known to help you cook, eat, do the washing, wash the dishes and help you find all of his toys after he loses them.
Fergus tries his best to be a good communicator when he isn’t getting his requirements met, it’s sometimes a small challenge to figure out what he is seeking but it is generally solved with a snack or some attention.
He loves to play a lot and his favourite toys are things he can chase like springs and balls. He has an interactive play mat that he loves to sit, lay and hide in, he will bring toys onto it so he can hide them inside and play with them. Fergus does require plenty of play enrichment throughout the day and would love nothing more than an enclosed outdoor entertaining area if available.

Medical notes
Fergus requires daily medication for something called Cryptococcus which is a fungl infection that he had before we rescued him from the pound.
Fergus is great to medicate and no longer has any symptoms but unfortunately the fungus is still in his blood stream so he requires medication to avoid any nasty symptoms returning.
In some cases medication can be ongoing and Fergus will require vet visits every 2-6 months to monitor his progress.
All vet visits would be paid for and coordinated by Beary Fuzzy Forever Rescue.
