About Lightning McQueen
Hi, I'm Lightning McQueen.
I know what you're thinking. With a name like Lightning, you are probably expecting a puppy who zooms around at top speed all day long. The truth is, I am much more likely to be found enjoying a cuddle, looking for snacks, or figuring out how to get even closer to my food bowl.
My foster carer lovingly calls me a little potato, and honestly, I think that suits me perfectly.
I am a sweet-natured boy who gets along well with other dogs, but I would also be happy as an only pet. As long as I have people to love and a comfy place to relax, I am a pretty happy puppy.
I enjoy playing with squeaky toys and rope toys, and I can definitely get involved when there is fun to be had. I have a nice balance of playful energy and laid-back charm. One moment I am playing with my toys, and the next I am looking for a cuddle or a spot to stretch out for a nap.
I am learning all the important puppy skills, including how to sit. I am doing well with my toileting and will happily head out onto the grass when I need to go.
At the vet, I am a very good boy. I love the attention and never complain about receiving a few extra treats. I can be a little vocal when I am playing, but otherwise I am easy-going and relaxed.
Now, I should probably tell you about my funniest habit. I absolutely love food. Not just eating it. Loving it. Sometimes I get so excited about mealtime that I will sit right in my food bowl. Why eat near your dinner when you can sit in it and admire it at the same time?
My foster carer describes me as the sweetest little potato, and I think that sums me up pretty well. I am affectionate, friendly, and always ready for a cuddle.
If you are looking for a puppy who will make you smile every day, keep you company on the couch, and remind you that food is one of life's greatest joys, I would love to meet you.
Love,
Lightning
