About Rumi
Rumi Requires the following in her new home:
- Another desexed male dog, that is not a puppy or senior and is active and playful.
- A medium to large yard with room to play and explore that is fully fenced.
- To have the option to be inside when her people are home and to sleep of a night.
- No young children.
If you are ready for a puppy that is a good mix of active and cuddly, Rumi might be for you. Once she has spent her energy doing zoomies, following her people around, playing with other dogs, and exploring the house and yard, she is ready to sit on your knee and have snuggles.
Although Rumi is gentle with the children in her foster home, her little puppy teeth are sharp, so she will benefit from having toys to chew on. Rumi is a typical puppy and loves to play with other dogs, especially ones of a similar size.
Rumi is crate trained and will happily sleep there all night. She will also happily rest there during the day, but her favourite spot is her day bed where she can be near you. She is smart and is quickly learning how to walk nicely on the lead and to toilet outside. She will come when called while in the backyard, but she will need continued training to come when she is in an exciting environment.
Rumi will need a yard and is not suited to living in a unit or apartment.
Rumi legs are only short and she would benefit if her home doesn't have too many large steps.
Rumi’s foster carer says she is a lot of fun, cuddly, and a really lovely pup.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
