About Daisie
Daisie is a beautiful 1 yr old American Staffy x with a fun-loving and cheeky personality to match her zest for life. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, her playful and affectionate side quickly shines through once she feels comfortable and safe. She also has a talent for turning toys into confetti, so will need plenty of sturdy enrichment to keep her entertained!
With People: Young children can make her feel a little nervous at times, so would be best suited to a quieter household or a home with older children who understand the importance of giving her space and allowing her to approach interactions at her own pace.
With Dogs: When meeting other dogs, she can sometimes get a little overexcited at first because she is so eager to say hello! With calm guidance, gentle encouragement, and continued positive interactions, she will settle nicely and may enjoy canine company.
Health: Daisie has been desexed, up to date with vaccinations, and has received parasite control. Our team can talk through ongoing heath care requirements.

Adoption details
If you are interested in meeting one of the dogs available on our adoption page, please contact City of Salisbury on (08) 8406 8222 or email communitycompliance@salisbury.sa.gov.au, and complete an adoption application.
Once your application has been received, we will be in touch to discuss your application and the next steps. This includes organising a meet and greet so you and the dog can get to know one another.
If there are children or other dogs in your household, we ask that a second meet and greet be arranged. This allows for a dog-to-dog introduction and helps ensure your resident dog is also happy with your choice of companion.
Please note that some dogs may require further training and may be too energetic for families with very young children. Our team will guide you through the best options to suit you and your family and help match you with the right dog.
If everything meets your expectations, we will work with you to complete the required paperwork and payment so you can take your newest family member home.
