Your Cuddlebug In Training!
Poppy is an absolute delight in foster care, a sweet, cuddly, affectionate little pup who brings joy wherever she toddles. She’s playful, mouthy, curious, and full of that classic puppy sparkle, but she also has a gentle, respectful nature that makes her easy to love. She’s currently living with a cat and a large‑breed dog and has been wonderfully polite with both, showing great instincts for coexisting peacefully.
Like any young puppy, Poppy is still learning the ropes of daily life. She’s getting used to sleeping through the night (she’s not crate trained yet) and is making great progress with toilet training, though she still has the occasional accident. Her new family will need to continue guiding her with positive socialization, new people, friendly dogs, different environments, and everyday noises, all introduced in a calm, controlled way. She’ll also thrive with training, leash skills, and puppy school to help her grow into a confident, well‑mannered adult.
Poppy could happily be rehoused with another friendly, confident dog who can show her the ropes. If adopted as an only dog, her family will need to ensure she has regular, positive interactions with known friendly dogs, dog parks aren’t suitable for her socialization, but structured playdates are perfect. Because she will grow into a large‑breed dog, a home with experience in larger breeds is recommended to support her development.
With her gentle nature, Poppy has the potential to live with children of any age, provided introductions are done thoughtfully. She’s a loving, eager little pup who just needs a family ready to guide her through puppyhood with patience, structure, and lots of affection. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion who will grow into a loyal, loving best friend, Poppy might be the perfect match. Apply Now for the opportunity to meet the perfect Poppy. ❤️
