About Diego
Meet Diego! Diego is a shy but affectionate boy looking for a calm and understanding home. He may be a little nervous at first, but with patience and kindness he will slowly show his curious and sweet side, enjoying pats and the occasional lap sit. He is also very playful, and this is a great way to bond with him!
He would thrive in a quiet indoor home where he can settle in at his own pace and continue building confidence. Diego would like an adult only household, or one with respectful teenagers. Ideally his new home will have lots of quiet spaces available to retreat and rest in. It is also recommended that his adopted family continues to build his confidence at his own pace with lots of yummy treats!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
