About Harley and Tera
Male Staffordshire Terrier and Female Staffordshire Terrier Cattle dog mix 🐶 🐶
Harley and Tera are a bonded pair of beautiful seniors looking for a new home.
They are both 12 year-old mature dogs who love to be around people and families, and are very affectionate. They are happy to relax during the day lying in the sun ☀️ or in their bed.
In the evening, they sleep inside with the family.
Their favourite thing is to go to the dog park to play with the other dogs or go for a walk 🐾. They are good with other dogs 🐕.
They have had all their vaccinations in February for 12 months, along with full and thorough checkups on all their bloods and urine. They are heartworm negative. The vet said they are in great shape and can expect to live long and healthy lives for many more years.
A fenced area will suit them well; just 3 or 4 foot high would be fine for them.
Tera is a bit hard of hearing but she responds well to visual directions.
⚠️ Assisted rehoming ⚠️
This is an assisted rehoming which means that Animals In Need Brisbane (AINB) will advertise, contact applicants and pass on applications that meet the the criteria to the owner who will make the final decision on the rehoming of the animal. AINB may also be requested to undertake an inspection of the successful applicants property to confirm safety and suitability.
There is no adoption fee for assisted rehomings but we do ask for a donation (amount of their choosing) from the successful applicant to AINB, in recognition of the administrative and time costs incurred..

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
