Meet Meow Meow!

Some cats come into rescue with stories that break your heart. Meow Meow is one of them.

At just 7 years old, this beautiful boy has already endured more than any cat should ever have to. Found alone on the streets after a devastating dog attack, Meow Meow was rushed to the Animal Referral Hospital in Gosford fighting for his life. His injuries were catastrophic. To save him, veterinarians had to amputate his left front leg, partially amputate his tail, repair abdominal injuries and perform a blood transfusion.

Thanks to the incredible team who refused to give up on him, Meow Meow survived.

While every effort was made to find his family, it appears his elderly owner may have sadly passed away. With nobody coming for him, Meow Meow found his way into the care of Ninth Life Foundation, where he is waiting for a second chance at happiness.

What makes his story even more remarkable is that despite everything he has lost, Meow Meow has never stopped loving people.

He is one of the smoochiest, most affectionate cats you could ever meet. His favourite place in the world is curled up on your lap, purring contentedly while soaking up every bit of love and attention you can give him. He doesn't dwell on the hardships of his past and he simply wants to be close to his people and feel safe, loved and cherished.

Meow Meow is FIV-positive and is looking for a calm, indoor home where he can be the only pet. He needs a family who will understand his physical limitations, but honestly, Meow Meow doesn't let being a tripod slow him down. What he lacks in legs, he more than makes up for with love.

This sweet boy has already survived the unimaginable. Now all he needs is someone willing to open their heart and show him that his story doesn't end with loss and hardship, it ends with love.
