Rodriguez is still adjusting to shelter life and can be a little unsure of the world around him right now, but beneath his shy exterior is a truly gentle and loving cat waiting to feel safe again. Having spent time as a stray, Rodriguez has likely experienced a lot of uncertainty in his life, so it's understandable that he can be cautious when meeting new people or settling into unfamiliar surroundings.

With patience and kindness though, his sweet personality slowly begins to emerge. Rodriguez enjoys calm company, gentle affection, and quietly spending time near the people he trusts. He would thrive in a peaceful home where he's given the time and space to settle in at his own pace and build confidence gradually.

While he may not immediately seek out attention, Rodriguez has so much love to give to someone willing to look beyond his nervousness. For the right person, helping this sweet boy come out of his shell will be incredibly rewarding. He's ready to leave shelter life behind and discover the comfort and security of a loving forever home.
