Sigma and Matty are a pair of handsome teenage brothers who have never known life apart, and they’re looking for a forever home where they can continue their journey—together.
As you’d expect from teenage boys, these two are always on the go and into a bit of harmless mischief. Whether they’re chasing shadows, wrestling with each other, or investigating every corner of their world, Sigma and Matty bring energy, curiosity, and plenty of entertainment wherever they go. After all, teenagers will be teenagers—no matter the species!
While they share a strong bond with each other, the boys haven’t had much experience with human affection in their short lives. Because of this, they are still a little unsure and will need a patient, understanding home willing to give them the time and space to build trust at their own pace. With consistency, kindness, and a gentle approach, they have every potential to blossom and show their true, loving selves.
Sigma and Matty are best suited to a calm household without young children or dogs, where their new family can focus on helping them feel safe and secure. In return, you’ll have the privilege of watching their confidence grow and their personalities shine—twice the reward, with two very special boys.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
