About Opal
🐾 Meet Opal: Rare Find, Slightly Unpolished🐾
Deep within the cozy corners of a loving home, after years (okay, 3 years) of expert-level excavation, a rare and dazzling treasure has been discovered... her name is Opal.
Like any precious gem, Opal didn't just appear-she had to be unearthed. Beneath layers of mystery, sass, and the occasional couch cushion, this sparkling feline has emerged in all her grey-and-white glory... though admittedly, some of her photos suggest she's still a little rough around the edges. Think less "polished jewel display case" and more "mid-dig, covered in dust, caught in bad lighting." But true gem enthusiasts know-perfection isn't about flawless angles, it's about brilliance that shines through anyway.
At 3 years old, Opal is in her prime: equal parts playful sparkle and sophisticated shimmer. She's fully vaccinated, toilet trained, and up to date with flea and worm treatments, making her not just a rare find, but a well-maintained one too. No need for additional cleaning or refurbishing-this gem is ready to take pride of place in your life.
While her "bad photos" may resemble a rock you'd casually kick aside on your prospecting journey, don't be fooled. With the right lighting, a little patience, and maybe a snack or two, Opal reveals her true nature: a one-of-a-kind grey-and-white treasure with character, charm, and just a hint of goblin energy.
If you've been searching far and wide for something truly special, consider your digging days done. Opal isn't just a cat-she's a discovery❤️

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
