Buck

Buck is a sweet, sensitive boy who is looking for a calm and understanding home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. Once he feels safe and settled, Buck forms strong bonds with his people and shows an affectionate, gentle nature, happily leaning in for attention and enjoying time with those he trusts. He is food motivated, already knows some basic cues including sit and shake, and enjoys enrichment activities like puzzle feeders and treat games. Buck also loves getting out for walks and exploring the world through his nose, and he'll thrive with adopters who can continue rewarding-based training and help him feel secure in new environments.

Buck is still learning how to navigate the world around other dogs and would do best as the only dog in the home, with ongoing positive socialisation and thoughtful management when out and about. He is best suited to a quieter household with teens or respectful older children who can give him space and allow his confidence to grow naturally.
