Soltan is a stunning, big smoky black-and-white gentleman with a gentle soul and so much love waiting to be shared.

This handsome boy is looking for an even bigger heart-someone who can offer him the patience, kindness, and understanding he needs to truly come out of his shell. He can be unsure around new people at first and will need a calm home willing to give him the time to settle in and learn that he's finally safe.

Once Soltan starts to relax, his sweet nature shines through. He settles in beautifully at his own pace and absolutely loves a good butt scratch, happily leaning in once he realizes affection can be trusted. Beneath his cautious exterior is a loving, affectionate cat just waiting for the right person to help him feel confident and secure.

Now, while Soltan is a gentle giant with people, he also has no hesitation in expressing his opinions-and one opinion he feels very strongly about is dogs. In his previous home, he made it his personal mission to terrorize the resident dog, so it's safe to say he'd much prefer a canine-free household! Soltan is wonderfully honest about what he likes and doesn't like, and we admire a cat who knows his boundaries.

Soltan is also FIV positive, but don't let that put you off. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives with good care and a safe indoor lifestyle. They're every bit as loving, playful, and deserving as any other cat, and Soltan is no exception.
